In 1968 Vidrios Lirquén in Chile also entered a partnership with the Belgian Glaverbel, which took over a 25% of its share capital. Until the early seventies Vidrios Lirquén was a family business. But in 1972 the company chairman died and the main shareholders were his heirs.
