After the First World War, several flat glass manufacturers cooperated on a “needs must” basis to overcome the economic crisis. Glasfabrik Crengeldanz was among them and in 1931, they decided to coordinate their overall production and become one company – the DETAG (Deutsche Tafelglas AG).
